With over ten years of experience in the fitness industry, Mario Indelicato is one of the top fitness & health professionals in Chicago. Seven of the ten years, as a personal trainer. Working for such gyms as Bally Total Fitness, Crunch Fitness, and XSport Fitness.
Mario’s passion for health and fitness began at an early age through competitive sports. Always one to
want to succeed and be the best at whatever sport was in season, Mario joined a local YMCA in high school in order to develop his physique and sports abilities. From then on, his passion for fitness grew not only for himself, but to help others reach their goals. So he began showing family, friends, and referrals from the two simple exercises and correct eating habits. From this grew a desire to continue helping others see changes in their bodies, but now with a formal education in physical fitness & nutrition. This desire to help others which he has had since childhood, together with a love for health & fitness has not only driven Mario into being a success, but his clients as well.
The training motto, by which Mario lives, is Education, Experience, Excellence.
Education. Through his nationally recognized personal training certifications (NASM, NESTA), Mario has come to specialize in BODY FAT LOSS, LEAN & TONE, MUSCULAR DEVELOPMENT, FUNCTIONAL TRAINING, HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING, POSTURAL IMBALANCE CORRECTIVE EXERCISE, BODY BUILDING, SPORT SPECIFIC TRAINING, AND FITNESS PERFORMANCE.
Experience. Mario has worked with every level of fitness client. Male and female, from the obese to the athlete, and senior citizen to high school age. He has also worked with those who have suffered major injuries, are just coming back from physical therapy, and need special care and attention in the design/execution of their exercise program. So no matter your level or goal, Mario will find a way to make you successful, in a fun, safe, progressive manner.
Excellence. Every one of Mario’s clients is important to him. Their success in reaching their goals is something he takes deeply to heart. Whereas to some trainers, personal training is a “job.” Personal training to Mario is an opportunity to change a life for the better. Forever! This excellence is achieved through many factors. One of which, is his designing of exercise programs (resistance & cardiovascular) specific to each client and their goals. Programs which are all documented to show each client their progression from beginning to end. Another factor is his instruction of proper nutrition/supplementation, and the accountability of having his clients follow daily food logs. RIO Fitness Chicago Personal Training includes:
•Initial Consultation: Discussion of your fitness goals, body fat/composition & nutritional analysis. Followed by a postural screening to assess any imbalances in the lower, core and upper body. Concluding with a brief training session based on your specific goal on how you should be training.
•Program Design: Once your fitness goals are accessed. We will design a resistance (weight) & cardiovascular training program specifically for you and your goals. We do not use “cookie cutter” programs where we train everybody the same. We here at RIO Fitness Chicago understand that no two people are the same, nor are their goals. Every program we design is specific to you, your goals, and can and will be modified/improvised based on any limitations you have during the actual sessions. All of the programs we design will get you to your goals in a fun, safe, and progressive manner.
•Nutritional Support: Nutrition is going to be 60-70% of your goal. Therefore, RIO Fitness Chicago will educate you on proper nutrition/supplementation as well as calculate your daily caloric intake specific to your goal. Every client is also given a daily food log, in order to hold all of our clients accountable to their nutrition, since it is so important.
•Sessions: Sixty minutes in length. Beginning with a warm-up, followed by corrective exercise (if needed), then the actual work out, and concluding with stretching. During the session, we will instruct you on the muscles we are working and proper form. Learning proper form will ensure that we are incorporating the muscles we are trying to target as well as preventing injury from occurring. Not only will RIO Fitness Chicago help you reach your goals, but we will educate you, which will guarantee that the changes you see & feel are not temporary, but forever!!
